This quarterly recognition celebrates dedicated employees who have served the County for 25 years or longer. During the ceremony, more than 20 employees were recognized for their commitment to long-standing service to the residents of Ventura County and had a combined 580 years of service.<\/p><p>\u201cPublic service is more than a job \u2013 it is a calling,\u201d stated 2nd District Supervisor Jeff Gorell, Chair of the Board of Supervisors. \u201cEmployees who have dedicated 25 years or more to Ventura County reflect the heart of that calling through their steady service, care for others, and deep commitment to our communities. Their work has strengthened Ventura County, and the impact of their service will continue to shape and support our communities for years to come. I am thankful to each member of the County team celebrating this milestone and for their continued commitment to excellence in public service.\u201d<\/p><p>This quarter\u2019s honorees represent decades of service across a broad range of County programs and services, including public safety, healthcare, social services, law enforcement, community development, resource management, infrastructure, and public works. These dedicated employees embody the spirit of public service and the deep commitment that keeps the County of Ventura thriving every day. The longevity of these employees reflects not only personal dedication, but also a strong organizational culture of excellence and long-term service upheld across County departments.<\/p><p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud to honor these dedicated employees who have given so much of their time and talent to serving the people of Ventura County,\u201d said County Executive Officer Dr. Sevet Johnson. \u201cTheir decades of commitment reflect not only personal excellence, but a shared mission to improve the lives of our residents every single day.
