Together, these individuals represent a combined 660 years of continuous service to the residents and communities of Ventura County.<\/p><p>The recognition took place during the April 8th meeting of the Board of Supervisors as part of the County\u2019s Employee Continuous Service Recognition Program, which honors long-serving employees in five-year increments beginning at 25 years of service.<\/p><p>\u201cBehind every County program, service, and local initiative that supports our residents, there are dedicated individuals working tirelessly to make those efforts possible,\u201d said Supervisor Janice Parvin, Chair of the Board of Supervisors. \u201cWe are proud to acknowledge the career milestones for these employees. Their willingness and dedication to serve the community have made a lasting impact through decades of service and commitment.\u201d<\/p><p>The honored employees represent a range of departments, including health care, public safety, finance, technology, and administrative support. While their responsibilities vary, they are united by a shared dedication to public service and investing in communities throughout Ventura County.<\/p><p>\u201cThese employees exemplify what it means to be a public servant,\u201d said County Executive Officer Dr. Sevet Johnson. \u201cTheir years of service reflect not only professional career longevity, but also a deep commitment to the values of civic service and generating true community impact.\u201d<\/p><p>The Employee Continuous Service Recognition Program supports the County\u2019s strategic priority to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and diverse workforce dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of the public.
