The quarterly awards are part of the County of Ventura\u2019s Employee Continuous Service Recognition Program which honors staff who have reached career milestones with 25 years or more of service to the residents of Ventura County. <\/p><p>\u201cThe amount of growth that we have experienced as a County could not have been accomplished without the dedication of employees like you,\u201d stated Kelly Long, Chair of the Board of Supervisors. \u201cThe average tenure of an individual working in public service is six years. The many years of service represented here are a testament to the commitment of exceptional County employees who have contributed to the positive growth and advancement of our community.\u201d <\/p><p>The personnel who were recognized and received awards from across County departments represented the County Executive Office, District Attorney\u2019s Office, Fire Protection District, Health Care Agency, Human Services Agency, Information Technology Services Department, Probation Agency, Public Defender\u2019s Office, Public Works Agency, Resource Management Agency, Sheriff\u2019s Office, and the Ventura County Library.
