The local Ventura Drive Electric Week events are part of the tenth annual nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of the availability and benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.<br \/><br \/>The virtual events will cover everything you need to know to start driving electric. For instance, during the EV 101 Lunch and Learn, participants will find out how to stack incentives and purchase a new electric vehicle for the price of a Toyota Corolla, or used electric vehicle for as little as $5,000. The EV Driver and Dealership Meet and Greet will provide the opportunity to learn about the 40 electric vehicle models available in California, range, charging, and driving experiences. Individuals and business owners can ask local experts about the available incentives and funding opportunities during the EV-related Incentives and Funding Lunch and Learn.<\/p><p>Chair of the Board of Supervisors, Kelly Long, stated, \u201cThe Ventura events will highlight the clean-air benefits, cost-savings, and fun provided by driving an electric vehicle. By increasing access to electric vehicles, we are supporting the state\u2019s goal of putting five million zero-emission cars on its roads by 2030.\u201d<\/p><p>Ventura Drive Electric Week highlights include:<\/p><ul><li>Monday 9\/28: Photo Shoot with Evie McWheelie<\/li><li>Tuesday 9\/29: <a title=\"EV Movie Streaming Days\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/vcreandew\/ev-movie-streaming-days\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EV Movie Streaming Days<\/a><\/li><li>Wednesday 9\/30: EV Driver and Dealership Meet and Greet<\/li><li>Thursday 10\/1: EV-related Incentives and Funding Lunch and Learn<\/li><li>Friday 10\/2: EV 101 Lunch and Learn<\/li><\/ul><p>All event participants will be entered to win one of several giveaways.
