Taxes paid after April 12, 2021 will be assessed a late payment penalty fee of 10% plus a $30 cost. For more information, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ventura.org\/ttc\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.ventura.org\/ttc\/<\/a>, call (805)654-3744 or email questions to&nbsp; <a href=\"mailto:HelpingHand@ventura.org\">HelpingHand@ventura.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pursuant to the Executive Stay at Home Order by Governor Newsom, <span style=\"color: #eb0000;\"><strong>the County of Ventura Government&nbsp; Center offices are CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>USPS POSTMARKED MAIL: Payments can be mailed to<\/strong> the Tax Collector\u2019s payment processor at <strong>PO Box 51179, Los Angeles, CA 90051-5479. Payments may also be mailed to<\/strong> the Tax Collector\u2019s main office at <strong>800 South Victoria Avenue, Ventura, CA 93009-1290.<\/strong> Checks, cashier\u2019s checks and money orders are accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ONLINE: Property tax inquiries and payments may be made online<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/prop-tax.countyofventura.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">prop-tax.countyofventura.org\/<\/a>. Payments can be made with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted) or electronic check. Processor\u2019s convenience fees will apply including $1.10 per eCheck transaction and 2.15% per credit card transaction. <strong>Online payment amounts cannot be altered or adjusted once submitted. If you pay online, penalties will be charged, and payments will not be removed or refunded.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PROPERTY TAX PAYEMENT DROP BOX &#8211; OUTSIDE THE HALL OF ADMINISTRATION:<\/strong> Tax payments made by check <strong>(NO CASH)<\/strong> may be dropped in the Tax Collector\u2019s Drop Box outside the Hall of Administration, at the corner of Parking Lot F (the large parking lot with the solar panels). It is located on the curb, next to the Election ballot box and is available 24\/7. Please write your Assessor Parcel Number (APN)\/bill number on your check.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OFFICE HOURS:<\/strong> In keeping with COVID-19 safety precautions, <strong>we encourage you to Mail or make your tax payment Online<\/strong> and only come in person to the drop box if necessary. Although the Hall of Administration is currently closed, our staff is in the office to assist you.
