🚨Ventura County Fire Department is currently on scene of a fast-moving brush fire originating in the area of Sandy Drive in Simi Valley. The fire is currently estimated at 184 acres and threatening structures. Evacuation Orders and Warnings have been issued for the area.
The information hotline is open. Please call 805-465-6650.

✨County of Ventura leaders and community partners gathered today in Camarillo to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Lewis Road Homekey+ Permanent Supportive Housing Project.

Developed in partnership with Many Mansions and DignityMoves, the future development will provide 88 units of permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and facing behavioral health challenges.
The project is part of a larger wellness campus on County-owned property near Lewis Road and will include on-site supportive services, community gathering spaces, and offices for case managers and staff.

The initiative was made possible through nearly $28 million in Homekey+ funding from the State of California, along with support from local and regional partners.
